Some of my strongest memories of Australia are the quality fo the light. The pale strong sun in Sydney, the deep oranges and verdant greens further up towards Queensland, looking down over the farm I was working on near Tamworth ...

The film of "He Died with a Felafael in his Hand" was good for all sorts of reasons but one of the best things I thought it did was evoke the atmospheres of Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney through colour.

Err, that's all I have to add.

Finding it again here, I'm reminded of you saying it's the colors. So I look again at the photo and I see a haze in the light. When you stood there on the street, I'm wondering, could that haze have been there in your day?

A Sesame Street filter effect. They should market that.
